Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Beta Game crashes on startup

Hi, I recently purchased this game on Steam and I downloaded it but each time I initialize the game it instantly crashes yielding this as a result:



Any ideas on how to possibly remedy this issue?

Currently attempting to run the game on my computer which has the following:

Win 7
GTX 680
GTX 560
i7-2600k

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs before trying to start the game?

Did you try verifying local files?


Try try re-installing the DirectX, and DotNet and Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library from their respective subfolders in

..\steamapps\common\dragon commander\_CommonRedist\


Try emailing support@larian.com, with a description of the problem and maybe a link to this topic.


There should hopefully be another beta later today, so that may resolve the problem.
