How is the atmosphere in Larian on this exciting day, the launch of Baldur's Gate III Early Access?

It must be very exciting. The team must be very close now, knowing the world is about to begin appreciating all that hard work. There will surely be some busy last minute activity to ensure things go as smoothly as possible. There must also be a feeling that you are about to burst forth into a party.

Please tell us! How does it feel?

I can image Swen in armor in the panic room, shouting orders at everyone! XD

Swen must have a personal assistant helping dab the sweat off his brow since he can't raise his arms in that suit! LOL! <3

The armor is for promotional videos. You can't really move very well in it, and he'll have so many things to do that he'll need to be bouncing off the walls.

Perhaps they need him in the armor to help him contain his exitement somewhat?

I've got to imagine they are having some kind of virtual launch party across their various global locations - I hope they are anyway. Maybe we get to see footage in a future community update...

They're perfectionists, so I imagine that they'll be working up until launch, taking a short break while everyone fights over bandwidth, and then check in on live metrics for the rest of the day.

Hopefully there will be loads of full tankards and flaggons around for everybody.

He should really keep that armor close in case launch doesn't go smoothly.

Armor is a necessity in combat. i am sure proper plate is being donned at the studio.

at the very least no dirty leather will be worn!

Naked is better, while magic protects you and even keeps you cool & warm.

they obviously want a vacation, their games all start on a beach

Whilst they've twittered the sales so far have been "insane" (Early Access and all), I'm wondering whether they feel the extra investment was worth it. DOS was made by a reasonably small team, DOS2 a moderately sized team -- but BG3 probably has the biggest team ever for a "classic" CRPG working on it.

Naturally, it's a bit too early to tell. Hard to say what's going to happen once the full release hits. It may be that the majority of the game's core audience have already picked it up.
