The earliest report of this bug that I could find was shortly after the last patch for DKS (though there may have been earlier instances that didn't show up with the keyword combinations I tried), and AFAIK it wasn't specifically addressed in the D2:DC release (though the Developer Mode cheats provide an easy workaround if it is encountered).
