Thanks Raze for all your help. they sent me my modified saved file and link to get the developers cut. So no I am playing again able to progress.
For some reason, that mine, when I killed the creatures inside, they never dropped the key or skull. And, the 3 abominations only appeared in Sir robins storage, but when I killed them, they did not dropped anything.
