I'd suggest finding German dubs of your favorite movies and watching those, or playing your favorite games with german audio. I think Borderlands 2 has german language support, for example.
Really, though, IMHO the best way to learn German is through text. There are a lot of little grammatical quirks that are impossible to learn through speech.
I mean, hell, I'm still getting my genders confused all the goddamn time.
