Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - General DC Key Options for D:OS backers

Hi All,

I am a backer of Original Sin, on one of the tiers that includes a copy of Dragon Commander. The page on the Vault and also on Kickstarter mentions that we can get a GOG, Steam or Vault key, but there is no option on the Vault page to choose what key you want for DC.

I know it's not out yet, but seeing as the option is there for Original Sin (which is WAY off), it just has me a little concerned. Has anyone heard anything about this? Will we still have a choice?

So we're getting really close to release and no update. Has anyone else heard anything?

Starting to get concerned that we won't have the option for GOG after all.

It would be nice for an update. I'm very excited for dragon commander and felt really lucky to get that dual game reward. (True story... I literally grabbed the last dragon commander reward.)

I too am a kick starter supporter and have beta tested Dragon Commander on STEAM do we have any ETA on when we might receive the FULL steam key and not the beta?

I assume that on the 6th. I would only start getting concerned if I didn't have a way to access my game after it's been launched.

We're looking at giving these out on Monday, via the Vault backer management system, and there will be choice between Steam and GOG and Vault.

If we take the vault do we also get a steam key ?

Well, if you want Steamworks matchmaking then you need the Steam version of the game. People who've preordered on the Vault get a download from the Vault along with a Steam key.

I'm wondering this too. If I got the game through DOS kickstarter do I only get a steam key or a vault key? Not both. Or what happens if I want a GOG key? Does this mean I can't get a steam as well?

And more importantly, didn't someone mention that it will be available through the vault only later?
If I want it right away, because I can't wait to play it, do I need to choose Steam or GOG?

Actually, I quickly deleted my quick answer, because I checked the Vault, and the availability notice is on the digital version, as well. I'm pretty sure the Vault page used to say Aug 6th...
