Hmm... True, though (unit/AI) balance and army control as a dragon (the one thing about the controls they didn't like) seem to me the only things that may push it up a couple of percentage points. (Not that I can really think of any other changes to begin with, but my point is that all RTS battles essentially playing the same is a core mechanic and your half-siblings having gotten more characterization in the meantime is rather unlikely.)

Edit: Well, there's the plethora of settings for multiplayer, of course.
