Might be a good idea for steam to change label to say that game is now available rather than claim it to be still a preorder ^^

Steam release pre-load issues. Wont load remaining files after release date has been reached... This is what I've encountered.

I cant. I had to uninstall the pre-load and now installing the game again. 2 MB/s max total of 10 gb to install gonna take awhile.

oh that sucks, but its worth the wait!

If I wasnt so tired i would be fuming pissed and shouting.

But since i am I will just quietly fester in disdain at those responsible for the pre-load till I can play the game. :P

Currently not downloadable via the LarianVault (was hoping the Imperial Edition extra's will appear as a separate download so I can just grab them right now)

Does anyone know why this thing refuses to download? Preloaded 9.5 GB of it and now it's released that last .5gb refuses to download so I'm left staring at my PC wishing I was playing the game. Also I've been lurking on the forum for a while, just never posted.

ya no idea. I tried a few things and then just uninstalled the thing to reinstall.

Its just an issue with the pre-loader.

GOG download works fine for me albeit looking at amount of people complaining about it there I might be alone in this. Also it looks like I will have to wait few hours for imperial edition.

Larian studios can you tar and feather the guys responsible for the pre-loader not working as intended?

If not that then maybe a animated or drawn depiction of such a thing happening. It would be very soothing to look upon such a sight.

I have the same problem - it's probably because the server is busy and overloaded with the game being so popular (that's a good thing) . It keeps downloading every now and again; at 2 Kilobytes, yes kilobytes per sec which is about the speed of dialup. Guess it's just a matter of waiting. I'm downloading via steam btw.

Ya dont keep thinking that. I've downing 2 MB a second every second after i started reinstalling it. That was more than a hour and half ago.

and now im playing Dragon Commander. Re-install did fix the issue and that issue was the pre-loader.

well I had it preloaded so I started playing almost immediately

I did too. Didn't do me any good however unlike you. Reason unknown but screwed people were.
