Those are Warlocks. If you have ACTUAL Shamans of your own, they can learn the spell "Immunity" which prevents that from happening, and dispels it on units already polymorphed. Warlocks are also easily killed by Troopers and Hunters, and you can make more Troopers than they can polymorph.
