I just downloaded the game from gog.com.
On the download page, it was mentioned "this installer also bundles the french, german, etc. versions of the game." But, now that the game is installed, I only have the english localization files.
I went back to my account page on gog.com and noticed that it now mentions : "enghlish installer - also bundles the russian version of the game."
I'd like to play with the french version of the game (my native language). How can I access it ? Gog.com only offers me the english installer.
Well, in the mean time, I guess I'll just play in english. (What I would really like to do is play with english voices and french text : would that be possible ?)

We are still building the language packs for GOG.

You can play with English voice if you fool around with the files a bit.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Will we be able to download the languages pack separately on Gog, or will we have to redownload the whole installer ?

(I feel like I should have opted for a Vault key instead ouch)

They take time to make, so be patient. They're in the making, at the very least.

Unless otherwise specified, just an opinion or simple curiosity.

Thanks. On to redownload the 9Gio, then... I guess if I keep the english localization files somewhere before reinstalling, I'll be able to setup a french text/english voices config... ?

The language packs can be offered as "addon installers", they just add data. I don't know if GOG is going to offer them as full installers or addon packs. One language is about 1.5gigs (mainly the audio).

You can play around with copying the English audio into your French folders, then you'll have English audio and French text. But the French voice overs are on par with the English ones wink

I.e. once you have installed the French language pack, you could copy

\Data\Localization\English\Soundbanks\*

to

\Data\Localization\French\Soundbanks\*

Now this is all very unofficial and unsupported but it should work wink

Thank you for the tips.
Gog.com only offers a new full installer. But maybe all the languages files are packaged into this one now ? The files seem bigger than the previous ones.
I'll try the french voices first, then, if you tell me they're as good... (often, they're not... wink )

On a side note : I'm enjoying the game ; the dialogues and writing in general are very good ! smile

I think French voices are good. It's one of the few game who have a good localisation for me. Don't need to play in english to have good voice laugh

So ... thanks Larian laugh

Many thanks for not giving me any hint, so the surprise was perfect today, when i got my localization files. Never before i got a game in multiple parts. So let's start a "you did it first" party smile
