Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Technical Problems Crash to desktop / Lack of voice acting?

Hey fellows.

I will contact support but I thought it will be good to just leave here as well (also, I'm at work right now).

1) As soon as I'm able to get to the Campaign Map in Single Player and click on the 'Play Card' button, the game crashes to desktop (with no error message). It does not matter if I press the upper left button or if I right click on one of my regions and select Play Card, the effect is the same (CTD).

2) This might be intended but I thought it was weird and I would like to report it. I spoke with everyone as soon as the initial cutscene ended and everyone had voice acting along with the text, but, as soon as I went to speak with Maxxos for the second time (the first being his greeting after the initial cutscene) I noticed there was no voice whatsoever (only text). I found this weird because everyone I've met (including himself) had voice up until that point. Is this intetional or the voice files for that particular conversation went missing or something? I've validated my files on Steam and it says all are ok.

I don't mind reading if it supposed to be like that, I just wanted to know if that's the case.

I can tell you now that the lack of voice acting is a definite bug of some kind. Everything should be fully voice-acted.

Quick update:

Both issues have been solved (at least up until now =D ) by deleting the C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\My Documents\Larian Studios\Dragon Commander folder and by setting the Texture Quality to Medium (all other settings enabled and on High).

If anyone else is having this issue, try this. It might help.
