Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Technical Problems Installation freezes

I've downloaded everything again this morning, after deleting everything first. The file "DragonCommander-2.bin" is still corrupt.
When I use the program ICE ECC I get 333 bad blocks, so recover is not possible.
Now what????

If time isn't an issue I think downloading Via steam works.

I don't feel like paying again...
Or is there a way to download it without having to pay again? Will my key from Larian Vault work then?

Yup, Right where the blacked out area is, redeem that key on steam and you're good to go.

Maybe stupid question, but where or how do I redeem it?

Open the Steam client (you'll need to install it and create an account, if you don't have one yet), and in the Games menu click on Activate a Product on Steam.

BTW, did you get the new downloader from the Larian Vault? (step 3 in ForkTong's instructions)

Here is a download link for a larger ICE ECC recovery file (116MB, 340 blocks), for the DragonCommander-2.bin file from the English version of the game (don't know if that file contains any data that depends on the localization).

What do I do with the recovery file? I have never used the program ICE ECC, exept for the verify you told me to do.

I've found out how to fix it. The game is installed.
