I partially agree. There is still some good stuff out there though. You just have to look hard. Manufactured bands have always existed. Take a look at the glam rock period, the 80's. Basically chart music is done by good little bands and their good little megacorp record companies. That's why I never watch MTv now, the money has taken over. MTv's life was like that of an average band. At first it was ok and totally new, which meant it was cool. Then with shows like beavis and butthead and the rock hour etc. it became very cool. Most of my college days were spent watching that. Now, I turn it on and want to vomit instantly. What the fudge is R&B about??
