Four ten hours days. Since my house is fifty miles from my lab, it saves me a lot of time on my commute. 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday...then three days to just relax.

Nice. Are you a chemist? Sounds like production-scale work to me..

though chemistry is a fascinating subject. I'm a primary standards metrologist. I work RF and high frequency. It's a nice clean job..with no bad smells. I would say that is the biggest advantage over chemistry. (The chemists have the floor above me though!)

So you're in charge over all that sunshine we're getting lately.

Not hardly, although I wish I could take credit. Metrologist, not meteorologist. Metrology is like calibration.

I know... but it's such an easy link.
And everyone is always complaining about the weather... so I thought I say something nice about it.

haha..
I just noticed that it sort of messes things up when I change the subject headings here. At the boards I used to call home, when you changed your subject line on your own post, the new subject line only appeared within the thread. It didn't change the name in the forum index. I guess I'll have to be more careful about that.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled subject line.

I had to get up and read an award for someone one time (in front of several hundred people) and was of course hit by instant terror. Having worked with meteorologists for several years I immediately made the word metrology into meteorology.
Everyone was very kind and I was very . I hate speaking in front of crowds although if there's a podiam I'm normally short enough to almost hide behind it.

Are we out of the time loop yet? I tried to 'calibrate' my battery today and it kept swapping it's time to finish between 4 hrs and 6 hrs and never finished. I think BG must have caused it.
