I'm not sure how securing funding to raise an army during a time of war could be considered evil, if you're going to look at that way you are pure evil by merit of the fact that you basically just slaughtered 3 of your siblings and thousands of people all over a land grab.
Apparently it's perfectly justifiable to kill people if they hurt your feelings.
