read the FAQ and maybe explore the option in 'My Home'

...and use webspace from a provider that allows pictures to be linked from external webpages. Your current avatar doesn't show, only if you showed it directly from your web page so it is still in the browser cache.

yeah im trying to find a good hoster, but pretty much all of the sites that have been recommended earlier on in this place have either started charging or arent uploading properly... bah... and i have a pretty neat one, too lol... well i just found one, that is... ah, well... i'll wait for now

Well, you could try to ask someone with an already payed webspace to host it for you. If you look some postings back you might see someone offering such a thing, or you might even go so far to ask me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
