My question is as follows:
From what i gathered there are few options to buy the game via steam, retail (which is box steam), larian and gog.
When i visited larian website i noticed this:
- Comes as a DRM free download and with a Steam key.
Does it mean, that when i buy game from Larian do i still need to activate game on steam to install or do i download the install package with the
option to add it to my steam library.
My goal is to avoid steam whenever i can, do not get me wrong, the steam idea is cool, but i do not like the idea, that i have to use 3rd party software instead of simple installer to install the program.
That is why, this is my first priority.
If i buy the game on gog, can i avoid steam totally, aka download it, install it and played it, with the need to run 3rd party program.
