If it's only the new endings which interest you, you can pass on it or watch it on youtube. You will gain your time ^^
From what I hear "improvements" (I'm cynical based on how BioWare games went from bad to worse over time and judging from what I've seen from the new Dragon Age they haven't hit rock bottom yet, but they're trying at least) have been made to earlier parts of the game. Though by now it might have been long enough ago that I wouldn't notice subtle differences anymore.
Anyway, that's slightly off topic (though venting about ME3 always relieves ;))
