Will there be a Collectors Edition for Divinity Original Sin?

Other than what was available in the kickstarter, there has not been any official word on a collector's edition.

I think it is still available via payPal pledge?

The Paypal pledges were only available for a couple weeks after the kickstarter ended, though there could theoretically be some kind of 'slacker backer' option added to the Larian Vault.

yeah, they spoke about adding som kickstarter rewards on the Vault. But still, a collector edition might be fun too like, let's say a weresheep edition (including a weresheep mug or something as funny as this ^^)

I think it will also good to include all kickstarter updates(Zandalor Trunks etc....)

It seems rather unlikely that those will be available at release, though some of those things will likely be released to the general public (aka "not-kickstarter-backers") after release.

I understand you,but I assume there is someone who couldn`t bake D:OS due to some reasons-And one of them it`s me unfortunately...

And I think if we couldn`t support Devs BEFORE(during Kickstarter Campaign) then such edition help us support Devs After(At release),of course the price will be like Skyrim`s Legendary Edition level for example and there won`t such things as "Listing in Credits",Designing that or that"....

I think that, to be fair with the backer, none of the kickstarter specific must be in a collector edition but other specific item can be included

yeah I agree with Althor, that would not be fair with the kickstarter backers (BTW will they upgrade the Vault for kickstarter backers? I want a beta access and a weresheep Tshirt, they are just awesome !!), Larian should propose another collector edition including other features.

The kickstarter backers support the project and show their "faith" in Larian's work, they should eb rewarded for that. It is not the same to support the project when you do not know if it's gonna work or not, and support it once it is a success !!

You quite right though-I would show the same faith-but...it was impossible and if there will be such edition I will buy it immediately

In any case I can`t wait the game-but I suspect Larian have no much time for SO many content and maybe there will be another delay/=...

I would be rather annoyed if I'd miss out on stuff that's *not* in the Kickstarter rewards. That'd be like forcing your biggest supporters to buy the game twice just to have access to all the goodies...doesn't sound very appealing to me.

I heard somewhere that backers will have the game without buying anyway....
After all I hope it will be possible to download "kickstarter content" as patch for those who couldn`t help during campaign not for free of course ....

Indeed, I wouldn't mind if some of it were made available at a *later date*, much like the CE only vendors from Baldur's GAte 2.

But what Chaotica implied is "other" extra's for another edition of the game, which I oppose (but I might have misunderstood what (s)he was getting at)

Heh honestly I have to say that maybe I misundertood him(her) too because my English is not perfect..

yeah I mentionned "other" goodies in the collector edition and I would not mind to buy the gale twice (anyway I need to buy it another time for a friend) as the game was planned for multiplayer you can offer one of your version :p
or another good idea would be to do like Blizzard did : when they released Diablo 3, you could get it for free if you bought 1 year of WoW. For those who wanted the collector edition but who already bought the pack, Blizzard offer them to get the collector edition if they pay the difference between the basic game and the collector edition.
In this way everyone would be happy : a collector edition with new stuff available for everyone and the ones who support the kickstarter campaign keep their "kickstarter bonus" and can also purchase the collector edition, all they have to do is pay the difference between the normal edition and the collector edition (as they already paid for the "normal" edition of the game)

anothe solution would be to propose a collector edition and sell the stuff of the collector edition via the Vault which is almost the same than what I mentionned before

Or another solution, it's to add specific digital item to a "standard" collector edition and offer the same item to the backer with a kickstarter "collector" edition.

For the standard kickstarter edition, like mine, nothing more that the actual kickstarter reward should be offered, IMO.
