After the alpha is released check out the
Larian Vault. It is at least theoretically possible that some kind of 'slacker backer' type options could be added. Larian said some time ago they would consider adding the ability to upgrade tiers or add add-ons, so if they decide to do so, then adding some kickstarter like packages to the Vault may not be a lot of extra work.
