I just got a minor update on Steam of the alpha build. What were the changes? Are there any plans for at least a rudimentary change log?

Some changelog would be nice.

I noticed this too, and I agree that a small changelog would be nice, not of every single thing that has been fixed, because I imagine that would have a poor cost/benefit ratio, but a small list of the fixes that people may notice only indirectly, like for example balancing tweaks.

Yeah, just the major stuff, like things affecting plenty of people, things that are game-breaking and not peripheral and obviously big gameplay changes. It could be that start window with the near-invisible buttons or that loading crash with the endless bird-chirping, for instance.

How to tell if it updated? Did version number change?

I *think* (could be mistaken) the first version we had available was alpha 1.0.29.0 1.0.31.0 [EDIT: was corrected by norbyte below], the new version is alpha 1.0.34.0. When running D:OS, the version number appears in the top right corner.

First version (2013-12-17) was 1.0.31.0 btw
