First of all, thanks for releasing the alpha to us - I'm enjoying the game immensely and really looking forward to the final release!

I don't know about most people, but keyboard shortcuts are one of the major things I look for in a game, because a game with lots of mouse action (e.g. Diablo 2) kills my mouse hand. No matter how good the game, if it's too mouse heavy I usually stop playing it because I already use the mouse a lot at work and my hand can't take a lot more of that kind of abuse.

Having played D:OS for a few hours continuously, I would like to suggest additional keyboard shortcuts to be added to help those of us that would like to exercise both hands while gaming:
  • WASD-like movement keys to move the main character. The arrow keys already move the camera so having WASD for character movement would help as this game has a lot of moving around the map.
  • ESC to close more windows on the screen that have active focus (like a container that was just opened).
  • A key to transfer the item under the mouse cursor in the inventory to the other player. Lots of dragging to transfer item also kills my wrist. frown
  • A key to "Loot all" when a container is open.
  • A key to open trade window when in conversation with someone who can trade.
  • Some keyboard shortcuts for buttons in the barter window would also help.

I'm sure I will have more suggestions of keyboard shortcuts that would help as I play the game more. Thanks for helping make D:OS a keyboard friendly game! smile

Here are the existing keyboard shortcuts I've found besides those customizable in the game options:
  • Number keys above letters to select skills on the toolbar or dialog options (except '9' and '0' doesn't work in dialog - bug?).
  • F1 and F2 select the two main characters - I'm assuming F3 and F4 will work for henchmen/companions later? But since F5 is quicksave, I guess we can't have have shortcuts for more than four party members including summons.
  • Enter to end turn in battle (haven't tried this, read in another thread).
  • ALT to show some items that can be picked up.
