Running around, talking and combat should be easy enough to do comfortably, but environmental interaction in D:OS with a gamepad sounds like a pain to me. *shrug*
@OP: Have you tried mouse pads with memory foam wrist rests? I've had phases with what I'd call severe wrist discomfort before but not once since switching to one of those.
