I really hate WindowsXP. Yesterday I had to change the mainbord, so XP decided that it won't run anymore and didn't tell me why, so after some testing and so on I had to start to re-install that stupid stuff that calls itself "Operating System". I tried to re-use the old directory, but it told me that this works only if it is started as update from the running OS <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> and that it will now delete everything including the Personal folders <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />
So by now I have so much running that I can use the Web again, but I am still working at re-installing the whole software development environment that I need to continue working. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/down.gif" alt="" />

Talking about XP problems.... Today i installed the lastest updates and guess what. After that i couldt get on the internet again. Nothing that needed the internet worked <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />. SO i tried almost everthing (even re-install xp). After the re-insatll (actually he installed a second xp!!!) I discovered an option to restart with latest working properties. And it worked!! Took almost whole day to find that out. (I also formatted my D-drive for that. So now i have to re-intall all my games.) And ofcorse stupid me forgot to back-up the savedgames <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> and all my MP3 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />. Oh Well i'll get them back soon enough.

This was extually the first problem i ever had with XP since i have it (witch is a little over a year now).
