Everyone on the forums might be okay with a delay of the game, but here is the thing: WE. DO. NOT. MATTER.
What matters are the commitments Larian has made to retailers and such, commitments that they cannot break. The only flexibility Larian has in adjusting the release date comes from what the retailers (et al) will grant them, regardless of how many people on the forums are okay with Larian needing to take more time.
It might be the case that the game will ship without schedules, and that would certainly cost Larian some points or pointed comments from reviewers for failing to deliver on their final Kickstarter promise.
That said, it might be that we're underestimating Larian's ability to get things done fast. The editor is apparently so easy to use - for the experienced hands at Larian - that it's a snap to change a lot of values, and really fast to build and edit maps. I'm not sure that it's THAT fast to revise things though, given the lack of time.
