I don't know if this is a recent bug or it existet for longer.

Killing your teammate earns you 250 XP.

If you abuse the system of instant revives, then you can kill your teammate over and over again to farm XP.

But: If you die and level up at the same time, you won't revive on your own and stay dead.

So, there are 2 bugs here. One is a gameplay decision that could lead to abuse and the other seems to be a bug when 2 events happen at the same time and throw off the game logic.

The old savegames still won´t load. Game crashes every time.
I cannot say whether i am able to load a new game because i cannot save it.
Getting this massage: "Save Game Failed(copy to Level cache Failed.)Please report this."
It doesn´t matter if i save it with quicksave or through the menu..

Great... now my game won't even open... =(

Scratch that, deleted, restarted the PC, and re-installed... working! Unfortunately saving is still broken for me.. =(

I started on the game and not sure if it is just me experiencing this but when I give a character a command to do it takes a long time before they perform the task and sometimes when I try to move or pick something up or interact with the crate on the beach it just does nothing at all.
This became so bad that I only made it to the journal and had to quit the game.

This was reported before and it seems like system performance issues.

What is your specs?

That issues seemed to be fine the next time I went on to it. Was able to pick up and interact with people and objects. But during combat I will press to attack or move and it will take multiple times of pressing before they will actually do it. I thought I should mention it and hope it helps.

Well, truth to be told your notebook is a bit weak. Most of the issues you are having right now is due to unpolished state of the game. There will be performance issues on such system.

I experienced the following in version 1.0.93:

Scarlett & Roderick were both dead, but Roderick (who died first) respawned when Scarlett died, and then just kept on respawning whenever he died. Saving the game and reloading it did not make the issue go away. It seems that Roderick is in a persistent 'ready for combat' state.

Also after the last patch the game still crash when loadinq a save...

I was wrong, the issue is still here:

Once you minimize the game, it removes the GPU load. but CPU load goes to 100% on one core.

Whenever I start a new game it just gets stuck in the loading screen for about 15 minutes, then I hear some sound and it goes back to the main menu. No crash report, error messages or anything. It just naturally goes back to main menu.

I have tried starting the game manually from the application in the steamapps folder with no success.

No clue what to do, but would appreciate a fast response if there is actually a fix for it yet.

Edit: After reading through every page and every post I have yet to find a solution. I am not running Killer NIC, I have a realtek network card and nothing else has worked.

And I AM running 32bit windows 7. Just for clarification.

Edit: So it turns out it either must have been my firewall, or the mini patch that was released today fixed it. I just went into advanced settings with my firewall (Comodo Dragon) and turned off everything. Apparently when it is in safe mode, even if you completely exit the firewall it still runs in the background.

If that's the case it might help for some people to disable steam cloud sync even if the game doesn't use it.

Looted items are still vanishing from my inventory (and the world) post 1.0.95 patch. While this problem seemed to be fixed for the most part, it doesn't appear to be resolved entirely.

I saved the game last night, but when I went back to check it today I immediately noticed several items were missing. They all seem to be items that were looted from the ground:

- both the bow and sword looted from the ground at the first orc battle (when approaching the first town) are missing. I had these items equipped across both characters. Now their hands are empty.

- the Legionnaire's Handbook (with the crafting recipes in it) obtained from the bridge with the two guards before arriving at the first town. I had placed this on a shelf in the abandoned house within the first town, along with several other books I had collected. They are still there but that book vanished.

- most of the clams/shells I had picked up on my way to the first town. I had placed these within a storage container within the same abandoned house. Other items are still in the container but most of the clams/shells are gone.

- a few other items which I'm not sure about, based on the spaces randomly occupying my inventory now that weren't there before.

One interesting thing to note is that this particular save game folder (of this particular save) is lacking the *.bmp file that provides the thumbnail image for the saved game. It's like the saving process didn't complete correctly, which might explain why items are missing.

I just want to be clear that this save file was created post 1.0.95 and this problem discovered prior to the delivery of the 1.0.99 patch released today. So, this wasn't a problem with backwards compatibility on older saves. The save was made on version 1.0.95 of the client and then the load and discovery of the items missing happened on version 1.0.95 of the client. This was also a new game that was started post version 1.0.93 where the problem of disappearing items was supposedly fixed.

If you need me to zip this save folder up and send it to you so you can look at it for clues, I can. Just let me know where to send it.

The quest is bugged at the moment and cannot be completed. Known issue and hopefully being looked into.

Sorry for bad english I just live in Russia and I love the whole series of games, do not know what is already known about this bug, thank you for the timely response. Take a walk on what some still see this cave + very often crash the game, probably in itself is full of holes...
