Co-op dialogues are not working correctly in multiplayer. When the two player-controlled characters have a conversation between themselves in a multiplayer session, the conversation closes and vanishes the moment the final line of dialogue has been chosen by one of the players. The result is that this line of dialogue (and the outcome) is never seen by the other player.
Here's an example of a made up dialogue:
Player 1 says, "I think we should have pizza tonight."
- Player 2 option A: I love pizza! Let's do it!
- Player 2 option B: I'm feeling more like fish.
Player 2 says, "I'm feeling more like fish."
- Player 1 option A: We had fish for lunch! Mix it up a little!
- Player 1 option B: Fine. Fish it is then.
Player 1 says, "We had fish for lunch! Mix it up a little!"
The line I colored red is where the failure happens. The moment Player 1 chooses that response the dialogue box between the two characters immediately closes. It is never updated into the dialogue for either character, and the resolution of the discussion (e.g. Player 2 saying "Fine, make it a pepperoni pizza and you win") is never seen by either player.
Co-op dialogues during a single player session (where one player is controlling both characters) do not have this problem. During single player sessions the exchange of dialogue plays out just fine to its intended conclusion.
