Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Issue with Evelyn's House Possibly a Bug

Hi all,

First time posting on the forums.

First off I love the game and it is great.
But I am Have a big issue, and I think it might be a bug.

Having a issue with getting into Evelyn's house. I can not pick the lock to her house nor break down the door with any means.

I thought I had found a key for her house, but I saved and logged off and now the key is missing, along with other objects.

I am also at the point where their is no more enemy's to kill and can not gain any more experience to level lock picking any more. I have the skill and have 2 points in lock picking.

I am thinking this might be a bug, but am open to the possibility that I am just missing something.

Can anyone help me out, Is their a way to spawn the missing key or break down the door?

There should hopefully be a hotfix later today (it is morning in Belgium now) for the problem of items going missing when loading a save.

In the last build you could destroy the door to the house with spells, but that may have been changed in the current build (could let you skip a few steps in the quest).

Minor comment, please don't take this wrong, but would it be possible to move this thread to the alpha forum:
