Sometimes I wonder if the word 'trolling' even means anything any more. I can think of a few other, perhaps more accurate, words to describe such posts...

I think the problem is mainly due to to many people with to much time and money on their hands. They know the cost of everything but the value of nothing.

ie: They buy a game with no intention of playing it, never mind giving it a chance. They buy it simply to give them something to moan about.

Just got it on steam and the price is ok.

The Divinity series are fantastic and I trust Larian.

Well he could have been a parody post but no idea. I'd hope so, I really really hope so.

From what I have observed with EA games on steam, is that if the dev's are active on the forums then the fans settle down, and the game becomes successful, that is of course if the game isn't a rip-off, which DOS isn't.

When dev's stay away and never answer concerns, then riots happen.

Just a observation.

The game is in alpha, and it only has about 20% or so of the final game's content in it. It is pretty buggy. Saved games can and will break between major updates. If you're expecting a finished product, avoid this.

Only buy this now if you want to help the developers bug-test and give feedback on the game's development and don't mind having to restart from scratch a lot.

Right then.
You can see after playing that the game will be great. You can play and enjoy it as is, but you cannot seem to get involved or absorbed in the game, knowing it could crash or break on you at any time.

So basically buying now is just to get yourself a early view of what;s to come.
I bought it simply because I would have bought it anyway sooner or later, so I thought I would get it now, so that I am fully aware of the games mechanics and theme for when it finally get finished, or if it becomes a playable beta.

So yes, personally I think it's a very good investment, and something to look forward to.
