Yeah, I spent 6 minutes trying to move out of it because I kept slipping on the ice. It frustrated me so much I decided to never use it again.
One thing I love is the environment effects, like making it rain, then using the electric blast spell to damage them more. Unfortunately the mobs like the skeleton and zombies that I'm up against now don't seem to take much damage from it.
For the most part I'm enjoying the game, it reminds me a little of Neverwinter Nights, and I loved that game, hopefully these things get ironed out as the alpha progresses.
I never tried just combining items, I expected I needed a crafting station to make items, like an alchemy bench or a forge, so I was clicking on things like that with no effect.
I ended up deleting my saves and restarting, I backed myself into a corner and couldn't continue. I'm rolling a 2 handed warrior this time, hopefully he's able to cause a bit more damage.
