For lockpicking WHAT are you trying to unlock? Certain things require a key and can't be picked. I have one in lockpick and can open most things. Evelyn's House is one of those places that needs a key. Maybe a notification that a key is required would help.
If you think the Pirate is the last thing to kill in the Alpha then you're sadly mistaken.

I would say Braccus the Demon is the last thing to kill. Followed by all the citizens of Cyseal.

Everytime i speak with Desdemona about her lost love at Lighthouse the game crash...Anyone with this problem?

Everytime i speak with Desdemona about her lost love at Lighthouse the game crash... This is known and the quest cannot be completed at this time. Hopefully the major update coming will fix this.

You need to go to one of the end of alpha barriers. Unlink your companions from your party. Link the companions together. Send them over the alpha barrier. Take control of companions. Fights in this area are 7-9. You can explore a decent amount this way. Mains can't join you above ground *hint*. You will find some information that pertains to Jake and that whole situation as well if you are interested.

After a few hours of play i can confirm that in the Black Cove the game often crashes at random.

Hi
I downloaded the game on Steam, and I am not even able to launch the game!
When I launch the app, and I click on "Play", I directly have a message "Divinity Original Sin has stopped working" with a smiley ... asking me to check online for solution or close the problem
I uninstalled the game and downloaded it again, it failed again.
I verified game cache, still not work ...
The first time I launched the app it asked me some privacy settings and I clicked "Maybe Later". Since then, he never asked me again anything.

Have you tried running EoC.exe directly from the install folder as an administrator? This might help. I got this issue for a while yesterday and just restarted Steam and was able to play again. Was weird because it was the first time I had start up issues.

Hello,
I just purchased the alpha version
and I can't start the game at all.
I tried launching the exe file as administrator, doesn't help.
I just launch the game, click on "New Game",
the loading screen with the controls shows,
and then, the application crashes. (back to windows, with an error popup)
I already reported through the report tool, but I would like to know whether this is a common issue?
I'm using windows 7 64-bit (korean version).
