So just started the alpha today. Not going to be super active on it because I was trying to hold out until the beta but am between games for a short time so thought I would at least check it out so far.

I'm really liking what I see so far and was excited to see what appears to be the eventuality of an option to choose sex for both characters. If that is correct, would be awesome to see how you handle their relationship depending on same sex choices. If it's just a tease, well damn. :p

Anyway, my one huge gripe so far that has tremendous affect on my playability is the fact that my mouseclicks don't take the first few times I try. This happens a lot. Not just every now and then. Here's a list of the common things:

1. Clicking on the ground to move. My character will spasm in place once and just stand there. They will do this multiple times often. I have to click and hold in order to move. Also, when I click on objects the same thing will happen and I have to click multiple times before they will interact. Very frustrating.

2. Because of #1 above, if I scroll ahead and click on the ground, often the camera will zoom back to my character and they'll just be standing there. Again, very frustrating.

3. Often during combat I find myself having to click an area a few times for interaction to occur. This is both in movement and attacking. Mega frustrating.

So, as you can see, while I have liked what I've seen so far it really hasn't been much since I can only take a little at a time before I need to un-stress from the frustrations of the mouse mis-clicks.

Yeah, it is a know issue, albeit rare, and was reported few times before. Mind to specify all possible details for your PC specs? OS, gpu, cpu, ram, etc.

Apologize for that. Here they are:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3240 CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 (Direct X 11)

Wait, hold on. Isn't mouse lag on win8 is a known issue? There was even a patch from MS that fixed few games but I hear the problem still exist.

Anyway, is that 64b version?

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem (and maybe a link to this topic) and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool.

Never had a problem with the mouse until this game. And, yeah, 64b version.

As an addendum I would like to add that as soon as I lowered quality to Medium from Ultra the problems occurred significantly less. They still happened but it was not nearly as often and allowed me to get quite a bit further in the game last session.

Graphic quality is not an issue for me and so I'm quite content with leaving it there but felt I should point that out.

@Raze: Okay. Will look into that support tool and get right on that. Thanks and sorry. Admittedly I just jumped into the Alpha and had not really combed the forums at all.
