Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Waypoints not working

I just started this game so bare with me if I post something already touched on. I noticed when I started the game I could see waypoints to lead me towards the objective and being an old school RPG fan I save a LOT. I lost one of my characters in a battle, and decided to reload my save point, and noticed my waypoint is gone. Thought it could be a bug with my saved game. I restarted and the same thing. I see the way point until I save and load the game. Any fixes on this?

Waypoint is a term used for the game's fast-travel system. Do you mean quest markers?

You can turn quest markers on and off by hitting the L key to bring up the logbook with the quests. Click on a quest until a symbol appears beside it pointing you to where you should go. Not all quests may have markers.

I see the gold arch on the quest menu, but it doesn't appear on the map. If I start a fresh game it appears until I load a saved game.
