The game currently is way too mouse-driven for me. I wish this era had already passed.

1. I need keyboard movement. I will unfortunately have to say I won't be playing the final game if it only has mouse movement.
2. Camera auto-follow for the keyboard movement. Wouldn't hurt to have it for the mouse movement either. You position the camera somehow and it moves along with the character, so you don't have to constantly be fixing the camera position as the characters move.
3. Some key for "take all" from containers; Space for example. I think I played some game where Space would take all, and if the container was empty, Space would then close it. This was really convenient.
4. Some key for generic "close window". Again, Space would fit the bill for me. Space to close inventory, Space to close container, Space to close barter; if you can close it, then Space does it.
5. Single-click doesn't seem to do anything for the items in containers. Unless there's some functionality for it, it would be more convenient if single-click took an item instead of a double-click.
6. It would be convenient if you could turn the pages of books with left and right arrows. I don't think moving the camera makes much sense in this context.
7. The combat log flashes past so fast I have no idea what's going on really. I cast a healing spell that heals me over several turns, and I occasionally saw some very light blue numbers rocket upwards from my characters, but hell if I know what that number was. Damage numbers don't rocket in the same way either, as far as I remember, so why do healing numbers.

Few comments after playing the latest version a bit yesterday.
- UI feels "sluggish", can't really describe it any other way.
- Esc should close the last opened window
- Listing the keybinding in the tooltip of the respective action (so you don't have to dig through the settings menu unless you want to change something)
- better graphical feedback when performing an action (change the cursor or something) as I sometimes play without sound enabled (or on very low volume).

I might have missed these (admittedly didn't look very hard at all), so putting these separately.
- didn't immediately find a key to open the character screen, neither C nor P seemed to do the job, these are imho the most common bindings for this (from Character and Profile, respectively)
- a key to end the turn (backspace, like in XCOM maybe?)

* as usual this is imho (unless stated otherwise); feel free to disagree, ignore or try to change my mind. Agreeing with me is ofc also allowed, but makes for much worse flamewarsarguments.

It is a full moon night and ... bèèè! ... the Weresheep are out...

4. Esc will close container / inventory / skill windows, but not the trade or conversation windows.

5. Right click to take individual items from containers.

Yeah I know about Esc, but it should work for everything. If I'm in the game and I end up in some window/dialog somewhere, bashing Esc enough should take me either back to the game or back to main menu, depending on the situation. (And it's a lot more convenient to bash Space twice than than press, say, 'g' and then Esc for take all and close. Not to mention Esc closes all containers, which I don't necessarily want)

But I didn't know right-click, thanks. Still, left-click seems more intuitive.

A few more:

1. It would be more convenient if the height of the dialogue window was the NPCs response + all conversation choices. There's simply no reason in my opinion to make it fixed height and then hide the dialogue choices so you have to scroll down.

2. Keyboard selection in the dialogue choices is a bit wonky. If not all the dialogue choices fit on the screen and you scroll down fast with the keyboard, the selection will jump upwards instead of downwards at the point the dialog needs to scroll down. But probably this will get fixed as the responsiveness is improved.

3. You should be able to move your character beyond closed (but not locked) doors automatically without having to manually open them.

4. The map should show the current view of the game area that you have. Currently, if you scroll to whereever, it's really hard to figure out where exactly your characters are relative to where you're looking.

You should be able to position the camera using the map. It would be a lot faster than manually scrolling to where you want to go. Unless I missed this too. : )

Positioning the camera using the map is on the to-do list.
