Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Sex?

Thought that title might get your attention.

So I know this is a Mature game, but what does that mean in regards to sex? I've played Divinity 1 and DC but don't recall much happening here. Even in DC after you were married there was very little pillow talk (other than Ophelia), mostly just political stuff.

I've read that the two main characters can get closer, but how close? They become best friends, lovers, married, what?

And what about the companions? I know they all have their own quests and such. If you do their quests and their alignment pairs up well with how you are playing are there relationships there?

Sorry if this has already been discussed to death elsewhere, I just couldn't find any reference to it.

Well, In Divine Divinity, there was a place where you could go to and pay people to have sex with you. Which for the most part was them saying 'turn off the lights' and you getting a ton of xp afterwards.

The game description says that the PC's might end up being lovers depending on the players choices. Which I expect that Larian will honor their own words x3.

But don't go expecting a Mass Effect style scene or anything.

I remember accidentally going full homo.

Afterwards I went full bisexual.

But on a serious note, I think romance was mentioned, but nothing about actual sexual relationships.

Well as far as scenes go, the old "fade to black" works fine for me in game. If I need more than that there is always the internet.

I was more curious about the companions though, not just the two PC's.

PS - Honestly, I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that there are two PC's and one of them is not just a follower or companion. Not sure how I role-play two separate characters at the exact same time. Kind of like having a discussion with myself.

I think the term they used was 'lovers', which in now a days terms would describe sexual relationships. But romance is a given, yes.

No, not really. Unless you want to role-play it that way of course.

I meant you, personally. Single children, I imagine, have an easier time roleplaying two different characters or having conversations with themselves.

This is new, isn't? I didn't really follow all the info regarding DOS story and plot, because I try to avoid spoiling things for myself, but I don't recall hearing about the Twins before in Divinity mythology?
