Hello there, I’ve been playing this game off and on for a few months. When I first started playing I thought it was the most awesome experience I’d had in a game in a long time, and after the most recent updates it’s only gotten better!

So I’d like to thank Larian Studios for making one of the most entertaining games I’ve ever played!
Alright, so when it comes to feedback here’s what I’ve got to say,

Things I wish existed in this game:

- World repopulation, often times I wish certain things would reappear, maybe not an entire encounter, but it would be nice to see enemies repopulate after a given amount of time, going through all the areas I’d once been through would be more enjoyable with enemies to decimate along the way. I suppose if you’re balancing the game around the player being X level at Y point in the game then this idea would be terrible, but if
enemies scale with player level then this would be nice to have.

- I wish you could tell summons to ‘stay put’ or to stay in one spot and not follow your characters around. As an example, when I go to the Black Cove, there’s a spot with a dense fog of electricity, summoning an elemental causes it to disappear and allows the player to move through unhindered, however, since the summon always moves with the player this fog rapidly comes back. Making the summon stay where it’s at like a sentinel, would certainly be a nice addition to the game in my humble opinion.

- Spells and Skills are not well balanced; skills have a single tier while spells have multiple tiers. This means that skill-based classes will always have advantage monetarily. While mages and wizards will have to purchase new spell ranks a ranger can go through most of the game with the same skills they’ve had at the first level. This to me causes the mage player to spend more money on the same skills. I very much preferred when adding skills to a mage skill (like fire elementalist) would increase the base spell’s power. Rather than having a spell list with 2-4 tiers of the exact same spell. Unless you’re banking on the idea that these additional spell ranks cut down on a player’s overall wealth.

- I like that the maximum skill level a player can have is 5, honestly I hope this is the case even in the main game, unless players can get to a much higher level. Then it would make sense to have more ranks. I do like how Way of the Ranger and Warrior give extra abilities on top of allowing the character to use more abilities in that class, so that’s awesome.

- It’d be nice to see some level 1 and level 2 tier earth spells, even if they’re weak, like a kind of mud-ball spell at level 1 that’s like a fire ball spell that does poison damage. Or maybe an earth-grab spell at level 2 that holds enemies in a snare. These would be very nice to have, and allowing people to specialize even in the early game. I love the idea of earth spells, but I was disappointed when I had to skill up to rank 3 before I could use anything.

- Sometimes when an NPC dies I’m actually able to resurrect them, this might be a bug but I actually think it’s pretty cool, I think if you resurrect an NPC at the very least they should say ‘thank you.’ Even though technically they were dead, and maybe you wanted them to stay that way. For example, when the two men were killed by the orc-lady in the barracks, I used resurrect and revived them both, but they lost their dialog trees and couldn’t be communicated with. It would be nice to have these people at least say thank you. Obviously this might be a bug, but it was pretty cool to revive dead soldiers who died to no fault of their own. I mean I did suggest the orc-lady wouldn’t kill him.

- I wish there was a resurrect spell for water casters, I think it really only makes sense, I mean they get a regenerate spell, why should rangers be the only one to resurrect dead players eh? Maybe there’s a balance reason, but to me all it means is I have to stock up on resurrect scrolls (or make them, somehow) do they cost money? Yes, but I can alternatively just make sure my ranger stays far behind the fight to stay alive for when she needs to revive someone. Either is fine with me. But I’d prefer a 4th level water elemetalist revive spell personally.

- The ability to create a truly custom class, by starting with a blank slate, and the ability to choose four level one spells or skills. By this, I mean I’d like to see a ‘Custom’ class option, which allows the player to choose through a list of spells and skills, and pick four skills or spells to start with. This I think would be awesome and truly allow a player to build their perfect starter class. I know it might take some extra UI to make a list of skills and spells to choose from, but I think it would be a great addition.

Overall Feedback:

- The great thing about this game is there’s so much to explore and to do, it takes a lot of time to explore everything though and looking through a million crates is kind of a pain. I’ve taken to just exploding them all with an area spell and picking up whatever dropped from them. They never repopulate so I’ve no use for them once I’ve dug through them. Even so, this game is great, it’s two of my favorite genres combined into one, and it’s only going to get better, I’m sure of that. This game is fun, and you should be happy to have created such a great game!

Thank you Larian Studios, and I’ll certainly provide more feedback as the game patches roll out!
