I have been unable to finish the Headless Nick quest in this and the previous update. I reported it as a bug last update, but now I am unsure if it is in fact a bug or my incompetence. Here's the situation:
I cannot click on his head at all. I don't even get a pop up telling me anything is there. I completed the quest to get everyone over to the other side. I even tried talking with everyone to see if an option to take the head came up. Nothing. What's going on? Bug or no?

Where do you get this quest? Btw I read somewhere that it has something to do with the warming the crowd quest.
I can't finish the Cecil's staff quest, I found and killed Dietmar and his friends, but no staff.

Headless Nick is a ghost in Black Cove as well as his daughter who is also a ghost. You get the quest when talking to her. And, yes, it has to do with the Warming The Crowd quest. I finish that quest but then cannot do anything with the head. I have seen numerous posts on here labeling the Headless Nick quest as complete-able but I cannot complete it and it's very frustrating.
And did you check the chest for the staff?

A few people have reported not being able to interact with the head at all since the 1.0.143 update.
A couple people have also not gotten the staff after the fight, but had it drop if they reloaded and re-killed them (don't know if it is suppose to be in the chest if it doesn't drop).

There is another weird thing about this black cove. When I pull the ominous lever, I go to a small island, where there is only 1 lever and a chest. I can't pull the lever and I'm just stuck there.

Do you have a teleporter pyramid?There is actually a 'secret' lever implemented in recent patch to help people out with this should they not have teleporter pyramids or the homestead button. Also, the characters should mention something like "Hm, we should take a look around", to give a small hint.

When I use this pyramid, it says, nothing happened too far away, zigzags mentioned another pyramid located in cyseal.

When I use this pyramid, it says, nothing happened too far away, zigzags mentioned another pyramid located in cyseal. You have to use the teleporter he gives you to get to it. Getting out though...

Ah well. Guess I'll just have to report it again and hope it gets fixed. This happened last update as well.

No. I meant you have to use the pyramid in order to get to the other one which is indeed in Cyreal. The funny part is getting out again unless you did a certain thing first.

I'm trying to open the skeletondoor, I pulled every lever now, but nothing happens. The levers get disabled, after pulling them once. Nvm, I found it.

I nipped back to the homestead, then used a handy portal thingy to get back to the Cove. Or at least I did it the second time, first time I managed to get stuck on the island by myself, so the homestead button didn't work as you need your team with you. Fortunately for me, as a Bethesda veteran, I've got into the habit of quicksaving often!

Same here - regarding headles Nick quest - cannot interact with the head even after completing crowd warmer quest.
EDIT: could not before the latest update, and still cannot after the update.

couple of bugs on latest update - can't use the lever on the ominous island in black cove - found it but may need to have an amulet enabled?
can't interact with head this go round
Mayor went upstairs in library but I didn't follow him - now he is stuck upstairs and I can't return the staff
