Upon completing the quest in Black Cove with the stone and getting zapped again a ! appeared over Madora's head. I went to click on her to speak and nothing happened. I have tried numerous times to talk to her to no avail. I've traveled to Cyreal and back, went to Homestead, did some combat, and ran all over, still the ! remained and it would not allow me to speak with her.

Same here, too. I've seen other people complain about the same thing happening after traversing Black Cove, so it seems to be a known problem (well, hopefully known by Larian too! There was apparently a dialogue bug fixed between .143 and .147 for new games started with the latter version, dunno if it covered this one or not).

I guess it must've been some other dialogue bug they fixed, then... smirk Oh well, hopefully it'll be sorted out in time.

Hope so too cause there were a lot more incidents since then that I'm sure would have allowed more conversations with her. I actually enjoy them very much. It's like I'm actually roleplaying and it just makes me feel all nostalgic inside for the many many tabletop sessions I've had in the past. Others have stated on here not liking this new feature but I seriously hope it stays and actually ends up having consequences depending on the choices your characters make.

See, when playing single it's easy to just have all your characters get along and agree with each other. However, I love utilizing the conflict from time to time just to spice things up. My fighter (intimidate) and my rogue (charm) are constantly seeing who's the better. I love it.
