I hope this thread reaches Larian. I have been unable to enjoy the game at all because of flying text, text colours, and conversation placement.
First of all I play this game on 1440P Dell monitor, with accurate colours. The problem I'm having is that the flying text from the main characters while exploring is hard to read and the white colour is not helping!
There is also the conversation text, it is at the bottom of the screen and take the focus from the rest of the game. I can't read and watch the characters interaction with each others at the same time, including their animations or how they even look like because my eyes are fixated to the bottom of the screen to read.
Here is what I suggest:
1- Add an option to have all random flying text in solid coloured bubbles, like comic for example. Make it an option so those who don't like it don't complain. However, I'm sure many would find it extremely useful.
2- Conversations between the two main characters and NPCs need to be moved somehow, text bubbles would allow me to read and at the same time pay attention to the characters model, animation, and the world around me. Once more, make it an option please so players who don't like this idea don't nuke this thread and ruin any chance of me having fun at this game which I want to love and enjoy.
3- The chat & action log to the right of the screen. I would like to make it have a solid background, once more easier to read this way. AN option please.
4- I need to be able to control the text size because of my high resolution 1440P. Please I beg of you. If I can also change the font or you guys change it to something better I would buy a second copy of the game just to say ty.
Reading is very important part of this game, please make it pleasant instead of invoking the need to stab one self in the eye
