Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Blackrock Cove - Can't Get Out!! (crash bug)

going to add this to my list, but this one kinda sorta has put a halt to playing at all so I wanted to post it by itself and ask for help.

Friend and I have been playing co-op. have noticed co-op seems to be buggier than playing solo. regardless, tonight we finished Black Rock Cove and are trying to leave... with no success. whether it's clicking the door or trying the warp gate, without fail the game crashes to desktop from the loading screen. Have tried with and without it being co-op (all solo after the first crash since that was the first guess due to it being a loading screen transition), have tried transitioning to the lower levels via ladders and back up, have restarted comp, have verified integrity of game cache (which found nothing). Can't use homestead warp button because zixzax was not encountered yet. HELP!

I know it don't help but I can't get in Black cove. Went there once and unlocked the portal then left. Now I get a crash to desktop trying to enter through portal and directly at entrance.

I walked in the first time, then used the homestead warp to get out to get a quest item. When my friend and I went back to deliver the quest item, trying to leave by the door crashed us and trying to quicksave crashed the host. We haven't tried leaving using the homestead warp yet, but that'll be the next step.

Edit: Successfully warped out using the homestead warp, then immediately crashed upon quicksaving.
