I much rather see more focus on humour and richness (little details; bigger mazes; more dungeons; ...) then see them do a long drawn out fight trying to get night/day schedules to work well. I definitely wouldn't count on that. This doesn't seem be a "We can do day & night schedules, or we can squeeze in a few more dungeons" scenario. It sounds more like a "We can do day & night scheduling, or we can avoid bankruptcy and also get the game out with less bugs" choice. They're not looking to add more work at this point (which is understandable due to the number of bugs they appear to have to resolve still).

Maybe if the game sells really well, though.
