I don't see anything attractive about such unrealistic buffness.
It might have worked if Roderick and Scarlett were the decided and stiff characters (ranger and warrior?), but now that we have much more freedom and customization options it can't be simply left like that. Larian was able to give us different body-types in Beyond Divinity as well.
