She doesn't really has to be a lawyer, you know...

She can get a very good job in a company. Companies always have "lawyers" and ppl with similar diplomas working for them.
Sometimes to keep an eye on how companies can work their way around laws and sometimes just for legal advice.
(Specially in the USA, where everyone sews everyone, it's a wellpaying and interesting job.)
