I'm stuck in the same spot. I get the "teleporter refuses to work" when i click on the hands by Lady time.
I can use the other teleporter to go back and forth between the main hall and the observatory. Zix game me a pyramid but when i right click on it, it does nothing. I did click on the waypoints i've found in the real world so surprised I can't get back.
