I am not asking for registration keys. I myself have three unused keys to give out in fact.

What I am talking about are the entries found using regedit. Particularly in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\230230.

The issue is that every time I try to run D:OS it futilely tries for about 5 minutes to install some .Net framework (I think its 3.5). This is really annoying, and I know from experience with other games, notably Sacred 2, that Steam, once success, will place a DWORD into your registry that prevents further checks. Unfortunately, I don't know what that key is.

So if someone could tell me what keys are in normally HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\230230 I should be able to fix this issue.

Ehm... you can stop this behavior far easier than editing a registry

go into game folder in SteamApps\common
Do a search for installscript.vdf in explorer and delete it (3 instances)

If you want to do it manually, there are 3 installscript.vdf and they are in \DirectX\Jun2010 | \DotNet\3.5 | \vcredist\2008

I would love to tell you the registry by the way.. but for me they are blank... ~.~
