Hi everybody,

searched the forum, but didn´t find any hint, how to change the starting skills at charakter creation-screen at the beginning of a new game.

Please tell me if and how smile

Thx a lot!

Well, the patch just hit and you still can't change your starting skills and equipment ....
I want a 2handed battlemage ! - Shields are for "wussies" smile
Let's hope it gets added to the full release, I really do not like forced "archetypes" in a "do what you want" RPG...

Well you can't choose your starting skills but you can still choose everything else.
Anyway I'm still under the impression the beginning of the game is best suited for "pure" archetypes, so choose either mage or fighter and add the appropriate skills and points while leveling...

I completely understand the reasoning for "starter" classes but I just get that itch, like a skin rash if I pick up a class with skills/abilities/gear I know I will not use wink

I really would like to be able to select my starting equipment during character creation. Once we can select skills, I can create a "knight" that uses a sword and shield by starting with a "warrior" preset and altering all his traits, talents, attributes, etc.. but it would be better/less convoluted to allow me to select the "knight" preset and swap out his two-handed sword for a sword and shield instead.

Hopefully the next update adds it, and hopefully options to get those 'starter skills' at the vendor.
Would allow complete class-less gameplay, and of course people can still use the basetypes.

The current requirement-less base skills probably need requirements then though...

Starter skills are already for sale at the vendors.
