Does anyone know a way to receive this quest without joining the Fabulous Five? Just trying to see if there is a way to get the rewards instead of the Fabulous Five skipping town...

I never did find out a way to solve the x5000 and get the reward (joining or not joining Fab5 doesn't matter in this regard)
