Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Bugged Key in Black Cove

Hello! The Black Ominous Key that Pontius drops in the Black Cove is either bugged for us or it's stuck in the grass, we can not pick it up at all we have tried all manner of things to pick up the key. I actually have an image of the said key.



If can't see it clearly it is almost smack dab in the middle of the screen to the left of my characters feet in the picture. We think the grass is blocking us from picking up the key! It's very frustrating.. grr. As always thanks for the help if any can be given!

Did you try hitting Alt? Zooming in?

Yes, we have held in alt, zoomed in and everything the key just isn't able to be targeted.

Did you try a Rain, etc, spell to see if applying a surface and letting it dissipate would reset anything with the key?

Save the game, and then try leaving the Black Cove and returning.
Whether that helps or not, please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool. The report zip will contain your saves (you can delete other saves in the zip, to reduce the file size).
