I have an issue with the new character creation. I created a mage and 'edited' the character to swap earth for water. There was no warning that doing this would affect the preset spells which I couldn't change. Once I was in game I discovered that I had completely lost those earth spells and would have to re-purchase them later when I took earth magic as a skill. That is annoying and unfair. If you are going to do that then there needs to be a warning at creation when editing a character. In previous builds those spells were simply not available until you took the requisite skill. That seems a much better idea unless you also allow me to change the starting spells during creation.
