but one thing ! yeah the ones who pledged 95$ will get it, but if you pledge less (for example if you only pledge for the digital version) there is no way for you to upgrade your pledge so the situation is the same for the backers who pledged less than 95$ and the SEA buyers....
That's a fair enough point. That isn't always the case with all crowdfunded games (some allow you to continue upgrading at any point), but seems to be the setup here.
I believe a lot of the time projects funded through Kickstarter give backers, the earliest supporters a bit better of a deal for supporting early at the critical time.
Of course there is no upgrade to the PHYSICAL CE path on the DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION site. That would make no sense.
At the same time, it's not unusual for sales through Steam to offer their own kind of exclusive pre-order reward. I find myself wondering how Kickstarter backers would react if there were digital items not available to them that were available as a pre-order/digital deluxe incentive through Steam? Do you think they would complain about feeling penalized for backing through Kickstarter?
